I have the main part of the baby afghan done. Now I start edging and I don't understand. Here are the instructions: 2 sc in ch-4 at beg of Row 57, sc in edge of next sc, work 3 sc in each ch-4 sp and 1 sc in edge of each sc along left edge. Huh?

As you were working your rows, did you create ch-4's to bring your stitches up to proper height? If so, then as you work the side of your blanket, you will be working 3 sc in each of these ch-4. I would work it just like I would work any chain space which is insert my hook into the space created and then do my single crochet stitches.

Perhaps a translation will help. (I assume you know sc means single crochet.)

Work 2 sc in the space created by the chain-4 at the beginning of Row 57, sc in the edge of the next single-crochet stitch, work 3 sc in each space created by chain-4 and work 1 sc in the edge of each single-crochet stitch along the left edge.

Between that and KT's post, can you do it? If not, please post again with specific questions and some of us will try to help more.
