My instructions call for (dc in first dc, DCsp, dc), Does anyone know how to execute the "DCsp" stitch?

The fact that the second DC is in capitals suggests that it is an abbreviation exclusive to this pattern. Are you sure there is no guide to abbreviations with your pattern, either at the very beginning or end.

Is the pattern on a website? If so we could look at it and maybe figure it out.

There are many sites with extensive lists of standard and not-so-standard abbreviations and I've looked at quite a few and not found this term.

If you don't have an on-line pattern or photo for us, describe the item in more detail and give a little more context - a couple of rows or rounds before and after, perhaps.

p.s. Please, please, please don't post in the archives. It makes those of us who try to view each post nuts. There is no easy way to get to those posts and even the people who originally wrote them probably don't look at them after a while. The best thing to do is post your answer as a "new topic" and reference the author and the original topic in the subject field. That way if he/she is still visiting the forum it will be noticed immediately and it will give the rest of us the opportunity to find it quickly. I wish this program would provide a direct link to "new" posts in old places, but it doesn't. I gave up looking for eight "new posts" after searching over 40 pages at various forums.
