Can someone please explain in english what "1 sc into 2nd of 2ch turn" means

the pattern reads:
"1 ch, 1 sc into back loop only" (I understand this bit)

Hi....I would read that as you have two chain stitches, you need to make 1 single crochet into the 2nd CHAIN (there are two chains) and then TURN your work and begin the next or stitch... so.. you are

1. You have 2 chain stitches
2. You are going to make a single crochet in the back loop of the 1st chain
3. You are then going to make a single crochet in the 2nd chain
4. Turn your work and go on to the next stitch or row.....

I hope this helps...:)
