CH 4 (counts as first dc plus ch 1, now and throughout)
turn
dc in same st
ch 1
(dc in next dc, ch 1) twice
decrease
ch1
(dc in next dc, ch 1 ) twice
* (dc, ch3, dc) in next ch-3 sp
ch1
(dc in next dc, ch1) twice
decrease
ch 1
(dc in next dc, ch 1) twice
repeat from * accross to last sp
skip next ch
(dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch changing to green in last dc

part of it i understand and know what to do... others im lost mainly the in next ch-3 sp part.... if someone could translate to english i would be very greatful. if i can get this figured out i will be good to go for the next 80 rows :)

Ch 213 loosely

ROW 1: Dc in fith ch from hook, * + ch 1, (skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 1) twice, [YO, skip next ch, insert hook in next ch, YO and pull up a loop YO and dwar thriugh 2 loops on hook, YO, skip next 3 chs, insert hook in next ch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook {counts as ine dc}], ch 1, (skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 1) twice, skip next ch +, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch; repeat from * 11 times more, then repeat from + to + once, (dc, ch 1, dc) in last ch: 92 dc and 92 sps

ROW 2: (Right side): Ch 4 (counts are first dc plus ch 1, now and throughout), turn: dc in same st, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, decrease, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, * (dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch-3 sp, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, decrease, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice: repeat from * across to last sp, skip next ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch changing to green in last dc (fig. 8, page 23): 93 dc and 92 sps.

ROW 3: Ch 4, turn: dc in same st, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, decrease, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, * (dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch-3 sp, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice, decrease, ch 1, (dc in next dc, ch 1) twice: repeat from * across to last dc, (dc, ch 1, dc) in last dc.

row 4 is almost a repeat... from there i repeat rows 3 and 4 to the end

so if you can make sense of this please help

I think that if you forget about the word "turn" after the initial Ch-4, the rest of the pattern makes more sense. It may be that the "turn" should have come at the end of the previous row to let you know that you are working this piece back and forth instead of in the round.

Does this help?
