Have you ever used Fun Fur (eyelash yarn)?

I wanted to experiment with other-than-acrylic yarns, so I bought some LB Fun Fur. When I asked around, I was told that you should use a US 10 or bigger to keep the lashes from tangling, but I really prefer using a US 3 up to a US 7 because I like the threads to be really tight together.

I wanted to start off with the eyelash yarn by making a headband. Is it really impossible to use a smaller needle with this yarn? If it's possible, I'm totally up for the challenge.

Another question about this yarn, how well does it stretch? I heard that it doesn't stretch very well, so maybe a fair isle cross with some acrylic would be a good idea. Would a rib stitch actually rib, since the thread is so small or is ribbing just a worthless complication?

TVM, you guys always help me out a Lot!
