Hi;
I am a relative newcomer to crochet and as often happens, I have begun a project
that is too advanced for me. I have an afgan pattern which I started last night. I
have only gotten to Row 3 and now I am stuck. This is a long set of instructions
and I realize that I am asking alot when I ask for an interpetation of these
instructions. I do understand the basics but I am still lost and I have only a basic instruction book to refer to at home.
Row 3: Sc in the first sc, +* (FPTR) around post of next st 2 rows below,
sc in next st) 2 times, * tr in ch 1 sp on beging ch, sk 1, sc in next st, ch 1,
sk 1, sc in next st, tr in same sp as last tr, sk 1, rep between *'s, + (picot sc
in next st, sc in next st) 15 times, rep between +'s (work FDPC around post
of next st 2 rows below, sc in next st) 17 times, rep between +"s (picot sc
in next st, sc in next st) 15 times, rep between +'s. Ch 1, turn.
I do know what an FPTR is and the instructions give me directions for Picot sc.
If I could understand this Row, I am pretty sure that I can understand the rest
of the rows because the design is fairly repetetive.
Any help would be most appreciated!
Thank you
