This will increase the likelihood of getting responses to your specific question. Also, try to describe your specific question in the topic subject line rather than "New Knitter" or "Help."

The more information you can provide in your question, the better the responses.

diaganol rolling of sweater back in single crochet

I have been crocheting for 40 years and have never had this problem before.I'm making a beginner sweater in single crochet. I'm using 2 strands of baby yarn instead of worsted weight yarn (that the patern calls for) and a size j hook (which the pattern does call for). My gauge is true to the needs of the sweater. My base chain isn't too tight because I don't get the pulling in at the base that that would cause. It's not rolling in or bowing out due to added or missed stitches. It's doing something very weird. Its rolling(curling) at the upper left edge and lower right edge along the diaganol and meets in the center if I lay it on a flat surface. I'm fighting with this as I'm trying to crochet. As I said I'm using a single crochet with a single chain at the end of each row to turn and crocheting in both loops of the last sc of the just finished row. I'm crocheting in both loops of all sc in the row. Help!! I don't know what I'm doing wrong or how to correct it. Research on the net hasn't really addressed the isue I'm having. Please help I'm so frustrated. Sorry I was so long.

thanks, maimes
