Scrolling through past posts to see if your question has already been asked and answered. Postings are in chronological order of the date when the topic was first posted. You can also use the SEARCH function to look for past posts about your question.

If you don't see your question addressed, or if you have additional questions, post a New Topic rather than replying to an existing topic. This will increase the likelihood of getting responses to your specific question. Also, try to describe your specific question in the topic subject line rather than "New Knitter" or "Help."

The more information you can provide in your question, the better the responses.

cables- help!

Hello! I am knitting my first sweater from an "easy to knit" pattern and I am really confused about part of the cable pattern. The directions for 3-st right twist (RT) say to skip 2 sts, k next st in front of skipped sts but do not drop from LH needle, k 2 skipped sts, sl 3 sts off LH needle. Does this mean that I skip 2 stitches, knit into the next stitch but do not drop it from the left hand needle,go back to the first stitch I skipped, knit into it and then into the second (or middle stitch)and then do not drop them from the LH needle until the end? I find this really confusing and hard to knit. Am I missing something? If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!!! Thanks! Kristin
