HELP THE NEWBIE!

Hey everyone! I'm a TOTAL NEWBIE! I'm so new, that I don't even have any needles or yarn yet. I love to do crafts, and I really want 2 learn 2 knit. I'm short on cash right now, so I'm waiting until I have some saved to get everything I need. Have any suggestions on where to go for good stix and yarn? If so, plz contact me, I need some tips.
