Forums:

As I read the directions you have posted, you work the first three in rounds.  Starting with Row 4, you will be working back and forth in rows and you will be increasing your stitch count each row until you get to Row 8.On Row 8, you will be slip stitching across 36 dc stitches to get towards the middle of the row where you will then ch-3 and then work the next 8 dc's.  Then turn again, and repeat your instructions from Row 4 to 8.  Keep repeating these 5 rows until  you have completed a total of 72 rows and rounds.  By my count, this means a total of 12 repeats of Rows 4-8.Hope this helps.
