brackets used in crochet

i ran across pattern that used the following brackets {} [] () i am totally confused how to follow the directions

Seems like there will be some Pattern in the {} to be added every so many stitches >
just an Idea > since I don't know what the Pattern is >
if there is a web site for the pattern or if you can post some of the instructions that have the
brackets > I am sure some more Help will follow your Post Question !
