Hi,
I'm really struggling to understand my crochet pattern for a scarf. I've done 3 rows of htr and now need to do the edging which is confusing me!
It says:
"Work in rounds not in rows.
Round 1: *3ch, miss 3 sts, 1 dc into next st** rep from * to ** until first corner, 3 ch, 1 dc into middle of second row of side edge, 3 ch, 1 dc into next corner, rep from * to ** to next cornerr, 3 ch, 1 dc into middle of secon row of side edge, 3 ch join with ss into base of first 3ch".
I can do * to ** once but then don't understand what the rest means. Am I meant to carry on 3ch, miss 3, 1dc until I get to the end of the length of scarf but then I'm not working in the round?!
I'm a beginner at this, rounds are new to me and am totally baffled already!

It sounds like your first
It sounds like your first three rows created a center rectangle. You are now being asked to work your way all around the outside edges of this rectangle.
