New Knitter - need help understanding pattern

I am knitting a baby blanket from Bernats - Blankets & Buddies. I'm doing the Celestial Blanket. Here's where I'm having trouble. This is working on the border of the blanket.
The first few rows of the pattern are:
1st row: (RS). *K1. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1.
Rep last row for Seed St Pat once more.
*Then you change color and work 2 rows in Seed St Pat.
Change back to original color and work 2 rows in Seed St Pat.*
Rep from * to * twice more,

So... how many rows will I have when this is completed? Is Seed St Pat comprised of 2 rows so that "2 rows of Seed St Pat" is actually 4 rows?

Thank you both so much for your help. I always like to tackle the difficult stuff when trying something new. The two other things that I have made so far was a shawl in entrelac for my Mom and a pair of socks for a friend. They went well. Once I get the hang of the vocabulary of knitting I will be good to go!

2 Rows of any stitch pattern

2 Rows of any stitch pattern is just that -- 2 rows. Now if it said 2 ridges of garter stitch -- that would be 4 rows since it takes 2 rows of garter stitch to create 1 ridge.

How many rows of Seed Stitch ?

If I were working this pattern > I would have 8 rows all together !
Check the picture and look close at the finished piece !
