I see this hat at REI.com, item # 837435. Here's a link:

I'd like to knit a hat and scarf with this pattern.
Does anyone here know the stitch pattern for this, please? I can work out the whole hat pattern (size, # of stitches, color changes, etc.). It looks like one rib, then 4 garter stitches repeated. I've tried to copy it myself but it hasn't worked out.
I also prefer to knit hats on circular needles. But if I have the pattern for straight needles, I can convert it myself.
Thank you!

Hat Pattern
This stitch pattern involves Fair Isle knitting. Knitting with 2 different yarns on the same row. Do you know how to do the Fair Isle pattern?
After the 1 x 1 rib in yellow: K1 (yellow), P3, (red), K1 (Y), P3, (R). Repeat all the way around.
Then all you have to do is change the red yarn to blue or green however many rows you want.
Hope this helps. Lorna
