I'm crocheting for the first time and i'm trying to do a single crochet row after row, i figured if i hooked into each stitch it would keep getting bigger after each row, so from the second row on i hook in at every other stitch but the sides on my "square" are not straight at all!!!! they go in and out and it's quite rediculous. I don't know what to do, i've been counting my stitches and the number is still right.
