Trying to crochet the baby booties from the Leisure Arts "Baby Layettes & Afghans booklet. Soft & Sweet Layette. I am a beginner and don't understand what it's asking at the end of rnd. 2
Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 2 hdc, dc in next 6 hdc, 2 dc in each of next 5 hdc, dc in next 6 hdc, 2 dc in each of last 2 hdc, here is where I get lost, dc in same st as first dc, join with slip st to first dc.

The ch 3 at the start of the row is always > called a dc <
So I would make that last dc in the stitch that you have that ch 3 in !
