Materials:

4 ply knitting worsted weight yarn 14 ozs color of your choice
Size J crochet hook or size to obtain gauge.
Pillow form

Pillow Front:
Chain (ch) 3, join with slip stitch to form ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), work 2 dc in ring, [ch 1, 3 dc in ring] repeat directions in brackets twice more = 3 times in all, ch 1, join with slip stitch to top of beginning ch.	Round 2: Ch 3, work 5 dc in next stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook in first of the 5 dc, pick up dropped loop and pull through, ch1 to close = popcorn stitch made, [dc in next stitch, work 1 dc and ch 1 and 1 dc all in next ch space for corner dc in next stitch, popcorn in next stitch] repeat directions in brackets twice more = 3 times in all, dc in next stitch, work corner as before in last ch space, join to top of ch 3.
Round 3: Ch 3, work 4 dc in same place, drop loop from hook, insert hook in top of ch 3, pick up dropped loop and pull through, ch 1 to close = beginning popcorn made, [dc in 1 stitch, popcorn in 1 stitch, dc in 1 stitch, work 2 dc and ch 1 and 2 dc all in corner ch space, dc in 1 stitch, popcorn in 1 stitch] repeat directions in brackets twice more = 3 times in all, dc in 1 stitch, popcorn in 1 stitch, dc in 1 stitch, work corner as before in last ch space, dc in 1 stitch, join to top of first popcorn. Rounds 3-6: Ch 3, [dc in each stitch to next corner space, work 2 dc and ch 1 and 2 dc all in ch space] repeat directions in brackets 3 times more = 4 times in all, dc in each stitch to end, join.	Rounds 7-11: Repeat Round 2.
Rounds 12-15: Repeat Round 3. At end of last round, fasten off.

Finishing:

Sew front and back together along three sides, using back loops only of last rounds. Insert pillow form and sew remaining side closed.
