Design templates/granny afghan

Does anyone know of a site that has grids for designing granny square afghans?  I would like to be able to change the number of squares going across and down and be able to click on the squares to change colors.  I am just getting back to crocheting and need to know how many of each color square I will need. Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any programs but if you want to do it on your computer instead of with graph paper and pencil and pen, if you have a spreadsheet program, you should be able to adjust the size of a cell into a square.  Then use the spreadsheet like an electronic graph.  You should be able to format each cell with a different color to determine color placement. This will mean working each cell at a time but electronically instead of manually with paper and color pencils.

Thank you KT.  I tried a computer paint program.  It was a bit of a pain, in that you had to stamp out each individual square, but you could drop in colors once you made all of the squares.  I also used MicrosoftWord, using a table to get the correct number of squares and I printed out blank (colorless) templates.  I will try the spreadsheet next.  Thanks!
