I had a wonderful Mother's Day >
Father God did give me a desire of my Heart >
I was used to bless our Granddaughter and a lady at Church.

Sounds as if you had a wonderful day and plan to extend it by using the delightful yarn you purchased. Socks and I no longer get along because I go through the heels dramatically. I do enjoy making them, though, especially for my little people grands. Happy Knitting!!! Marian

I went to a guild workshop with Galina Khlemeva of Orenburg lace fame and got some lovely lace-weight wool to try out some scarves and splurged on some lace-weight cashmere that I'll used doubled for socks. My knitting friends were amazed I would make cashmere socks -- but the only way I could bring myself to buy cashmere was to plan socks for my husband!
