I have a baby blanket that calls for Sport Yarn with a gauge
of 5 stitches per inch.
Was wondering if I used Worsted Weight with same gauge of
5 stitches per inch on different size needles if the blanket
would be same size or larger.
Thank you.

Thank you so much! I thought it would be the same size but
didn't think of the row.
I appreciate your time in responding to me.

If you get 5 stitches to the inch with whatever yarn you use, the width of your project should be the same. However, you did not give a row gauge so the height may differ and I would expect the drape to differ dramatically.
Using worsted weight yarn for a sport weight pattern at the same gauge should give you a denser, "stiffer" fabric. Afghans are often times knit to a somewhat looser gauge so that the finished product has more drape.
Try swatching to see if you like the fabric.
