I'm in need of photos or clip arts of basic crochet stitches to put in a book and on a website. I have seen in many crochet books and websites animated photos that were great as well as professional photos. Is there some type of software for crochet or some type of clip art?

Have you contacted any of the yarn companies who sponsor this CYCA web site? Or any of the organizations dedicated to the art and craft of crochet? Any of the magazines?

There is software for crochet lessons, and there is clip art. You would need to contact the copyright owners to get permission before you could use any such materials in a book or on a web site.
