Row 6 reads: Ss in first dc. Ss in each of next 3 ch. Ss in each of next 2 sc. I can't find any reference to an ss stitch! can anyone help me?

Hi Kmm, Ss usually stands for slip stitch. The pattern will tell you what stitches are going to be used...in most cases. Look at the beginning instructions and see if this is the case.
