I'm new at crocheting, and this pattern has me confused. I don't know if I'm suppose to turn at the end of each row or just continue going around.
1st row (1 dc. Ch 3. 3dc) in 6th ch from hook. *(Miss next 4 ch. 1 sc in next ch. Miss next 4 ch. (1dc. Ch 3. dc) in next ch. Rep from * to last 4 ch. Miss next 3 ch. 1 sc in last ch.
2nd row Ch5 (counts as dc and ch 2). *(1dc. Ch3. 3dc) in next ch-3 sp. (1 sc in next ch-3 sp. Ch3) twice. Rep from * to last ch-3 sp. (1 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in last ch-3 sp. 1 sc in top of turning ch.
3rd row Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2). *(1dc. Ch 3. 3dc) in next ch-3 sp. (1 sc in next ch-3 sp. Ch3) twice. Rep from * to last ch 3- sp. 1dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in last ch-3 sp. 1 sc in 3rd ch of ch 5.
Rep last row until work from beg measures 52 ins.
If someone could please help me understand this pattern I would be so greatful.
Thanks
Debbie

I don't know what you are
I don't know what you are working but unless you need to be making a tube or a circle, the use of the word "Rows" in the instructions is a clue that you will be expected to turn your work and go back and forth.
Other clues that you would be working flat is if you are asked to chain a signifcant number of stitches and not instructed to join the chain into a circle.
Hope this helps.
