*skip next st, 1dc-ch1-1 dc

*skip next st, 1dc-ch1-1 dc in next st(V-st made). Repeat from * Skip a stitch and do a dc in the next stitch. Make a ch-1 and then do another dc in the same stitch you worked your first dc. Now skip a stitch and do a dc, ch-1, dc in the next stitch. Continue doing this until you get to where you made your ch-3. In the same stitch where your ch-3 is based, make a dc, then a ch-1 then connect the ch-1 to the top of the ch-3.

When you finish this round, you should have twelve sets of these Vs-dc which is the combination of the dc, ch-1, dc.
