miter squares

I have tried and tried to get a mitered square to line up. I love the look, but no matter what I do they will not line up. How do you sew them together with out stretching the long side of the square to the next short side of the next square? The pattern I used was from redheart. Turned the squares into pillows. If any one knows that would be great. Thank You Pam Bennett

Picture Pattern help

I have never worked from a picture pattern before. I've been writing it out round by round but am having trouble understanding some of it. It's a UK pattern so I've converted stitches to US. In round 12, 13, 14 the pattern shows a T with no cross. This is not in the pattern key so I'm guessing it's a hdc but am not sure. In rnd 14 I think there are clusters maybe trcl? Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to make this.

Dare we hope?

I'm still gunshy, but I hope that the forums have been reclaimed. What a pleasure to check in here and see such nice, clean posts.

I am sorry that we still can't p.m. each other. But this spam problem has certainly been the biggest irritation we've had in a long time. Thanks, powers-that-be!

And how nice to be able to edit the post after the fact! And how nice to be able to report spam immediately!

Crochet "in side" of stitch

I have just begun to crochet the outside frame of a dresser scarf whose center is a series of assembled medallions. The first round of the frame consists of chains with the occasional tr or dtr attaching it to the medallion pieces. The corners of the first round are composed of (dtr, ch7, dtr) and the first round ended with a tr in the fifth ch of beginning ch-19 to form the last loop.
