Pineapple tablecloth pattern

I am looking for a round Pineapple Tablecloth pattern, it has a pinwheel in the middle and then it has rows of chains and then it starts the pineapple.

It was printed in a magazine in 96 or 97 and I don't remember which one it was. I do have a picture of the one I made before if anyone wants to see it.

Pattern Help Please! I am so confused...

Hi all, I'm trying to make a wrap from redheart and I got everything down, except for this part.
The wrap is made in "sections" for slits and the direction says, "with right side facing and previous section in front of work, join yarn in 25th st on row 21..."

I get the joining part but what does it mean to hold previous section in front of work? I know the stitch overlaps the previous section by two so does that mean I work the stiches "behind" the previous section? How would I that?

Here is the pattern in case I am confusing you guys:

reading pattern help!!!

I have a pattern for a "throw".
with A ch 5;join w/ slip st to form ring (got that one figured out)
rnd 1: Ch 3, 15 dc in ring; join with a slip st to top of ch-3 (HUH?!)
rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, ch 7, skip next dc, [sc in next dc, ch7, skip next dc] 7 times; join in first dc. Fasten off

and so on and so on. I have no clue and haven't been able to find anything online that spells it out in simple language for me.
Thanks for your time and answers in advance!

looking for a hat pattern

I'm hoping to come up with a pattern to make a specific style of winter hat. My daughter knitted a neat hat a couple of years ago out of Noro Kureyon. It was a Noro pattern. It was knit as a rectangle on the diagonal, and had raised rows which created a very cool spiral pattern when the hat was assembled, by sewing the ends of the rectangle into a hat shape and then pulling the top up tight. I have searched in vain for a similar pattern for a crocheted hat, as I don't knit.

Problem with Lion Brand Homespun Crochet Ruffle Scarf Pattern

I am an intermediate crocheter, but have not been actively crocheting for quite some time and would like to get back into it. I recently found a pattern on the Lion Brand website for a Crocheted Ruffle Scarf, which I thought would be a good way to get started again. I printed the pattern, however, I am unsure where to proceed after Row 4. It doesn't say whether I continue with Row 4 until I reach the length and then fasten off or whether I repeat Rows 1-4 until I reach the length and then fasten off?? The pattern is labeled as easy, and maybe I am just reading into this too much??!!

Color change in crochet?

Hi all, I am brand new to Crocheting, trying to teach myself. I am working on a pillow pattern that has contrasting color blocks and cannot for the life of me understand the color change process. Every instruction I have read indicates to carry the yarn over on the wrong side. I get that concept but can't understand how to do that when I am working with the wrong side facing me. How do I get the yarn neatly to the wrong side when it falls to the back?

pattern instructions

Can someone please tell me how to do this: With Purple and working over one strand of blue, hdc in third ch from hook.
What is working over one strand of blue? Am I just carrying the other color along until it's needed? Thanks

Crocheted Ripple Beret & Scarf help

First of all I would like to give thanks for this site being available. I am a "self" taught crocheter and have learned so much just from the help of these forums and consider myself to be at the "intermediate" level of skill!

Before posting this I researched the old and new forums to see if this question has been discussed and was not able to find any info that I am looking for.
