I am new to crochet and want to know if jacquard yarns such as Bernat Baby and Jr. jacquards can be used for baby blanket/afghan? The pattern of print is so pretty but didn't know if practical for anything other than clothing. Thanks...

Need suggestions for a ripple afghan for a 2-3 year old. She would be using this to cuddle. I would like to use soft pale yellow, pink, lavender, green and blue with white. What size is recommended?

I started working this pattern and I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. Any opinion would be helpful.

Chain 80
Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across - 79 sc.
Ch 3 (counts as dc on next row now and throughout) Turn.

Row 2: Dc in next sc and in each sc across - 79 Dc. Ch 1, Turn.

Row 3: Sk first dc, dc in next dc * sl st in next dc, dc in
next dc, repeat from * across, sl st in 3rd ch of
turning ch - 39 dc and 40 sl sts. Ch 3, Turn.

Hi, I am looking for pattern that has little houses on it, that is made using a puff stitch. If I remember correctly, it was made in panels and might have had on one panel that said home sweet home, or home is where the heart is. Has anyone seen of heard of this pattern?

Thanks,

Carol
