This pattern is on your site /projects/mayo1.html

I've gotten doen to where it reads: Joining Round: (right side) Work in dc across back, work.......

What is the object of thie "joining round". Am I going to be working down the side seams in this section? I am so confused.

Any help you can give to shed light on these instructions will be muchly appreciated.

Thanks.

Advice on Lace

Hi; I really need help with something. I hope I am posting in the right place. I am making a costume for a contest, and it has lace on it. I could jusy buy similar lace and dye it, but I will get a lot more points if I make the lace myself. I was wondering, would it be possible to make lace similar to the lace in this picture by crocheting?

If crocheting would not really work in this situation, does anyone know what methods I could use to make something like this?

I understand the first part of the single crochet foundation stitch, but I don't understand where to place my hook to make the second stitch --- described as "insert hook in last base ch completed." Where is that? Thanks.

Please repost your message as a new topic. It will then appear at the top of the list. Most of us will not even go back a page in the archives to search out a new post. You could reference the item you are looking for and the person who had the extra skeins in the new topic subject field.
