Please Help! Attaching round to square

Hello,

I'm trying to make a beautiful wrap for my 86 year old grandmother.

I found it on the Caron site, t's called the Vail Mountain Wrap : http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/vail_mountain/vail_mountain_1.html

I built the Inner Circle just fine, but I'm running into a problem building the Outer Square and attaching it.

The directions say :
Row 1 (RS): Dc in 6th ch from hook, dc in next ch, ch 1, sk next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch, ch 1, with RS of Inner Circle facing, dc in any ch-3 sp of Inner Circle, turn—2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 ch-1 sp, and 1 dc joining Outer Square to Inner Circle.

My first 'stuck' point is the turn - Normally, you turn it horizontally.
Yet here, I"m not sure if they mean to turn meaning flip it upside down?

Then, my second 'stuck' point is after the turn - it says '2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 ch-1 sp, and 1 dc joining Outer Square to Inner Circle.'

I don't understand where the '2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc are supposed to go. Did they misspell and mean it to say all those stitches are supposed to go INTO the ch-1 space?
Even so, the last part 'and 1 dc joining Outer Square to Inner Circle' I don't understand where that happens either.

I realize this is difficult via email and not being able to show me, but ANY help you can offer will be of so much help.

Thanks so much!
