Please please help!! CROOKED SEAM

I am trying to make a double crochet hat. Up to the point I stop increasing my rows my stitch is straight but when I begin to do the part that is just repeated to make the hat longer I gain a stitch every row. :( I am doing ch3 -dbl crochet into the stitch @ the seam as the pattern calls for. Plz help I am so frustrated I want to give up.

removing pet hair from crocheted items

How do you remove pet hair ie cat hair, dog hair from crocheted items? My furry four legged children aren't always on the project I'm working on and in some cases totally ignore the project. I understand allergies very well and do not want to make someone sick with an item I have crocheted. I would like to be able to crochet children or baby items for charity groups. It's hard to resist the beautiful yarns and cute patterns available that are quick and easy to crochet for children and babies. I need to add that washing items do not always remove the pet hair.

Ripple Afghan

I am trying to make a ripple afghan and I want the points and valleys to be less sharp or pointy. I am trying to make them more curvy. Do I do this by increasing my stitches between the points and valleys or it there something else I should do?

Need help with pattern

I'm making a simple bottle cozy (http://www.favecrafts.com/Mens-Crochet/Bottle-Cozy-Crochet-Pattern-from-...) and I'm stuck on the pattern. I have made the front and back with the v-neck bottle opening and I'm trying to figure out how to do the sleeves. The part that I'm having a problem with reads: "With right side facing, attach yarn at side in the first row end of the neck division; ch 1, work 12 sc evenly across the same row end and the next 15 rows; turn - 12 sc."

Mile a minute pattern help!

I'm having trouble understanding the pattern when it comes to the edging. The afghan is worked in rows across instead of oblong. The edging instructions are...
Rnd 1: Ch1, turn; sc in each st and in each ch across to last dc,2 sc in last dc; (have up to here.. this is where i'm stuck) 2 sc in first row, 3 sc in end of each row across; working in free loops of beginning ch, 2 sc in first ch, sc in each ch across to marked ch, 2 sc in marked chain, remove marker; 2 sc in first row, 3 sc in end of each row across, sc in same st as first sc; join with slip st to first sc; 512 sc.
