i need help understanding a pattern

I'm new to knitting. Where I get confused in this pattern is toward the very end where it says k15 tog and repeat * because I don't know which * they're referring to? Please help me!

Cast on 90 sts and work in seed st as follows: * K 1, P 1, repeat from * across row.

2nd Row. * P 1, K 1, repeat from * across row. Repeat last 2 rows 5 times. P 2 rows.

Work in pattern as follows:

1st Row. K 1, P 1, * K 1, P 4, repeat from *16 times, K1, P 1, K 1.

2nd Row. K 1, P 2, * K 3, P 2, repeat from *16 times, P1, K1.

3rd Row. K 1, P 1, * K 3, P 2, repeat from *16 times, K1, P 1, K 1.

difficult in reading the pattern

hi
can any one help in with this step . i am unable to understand it

cast on 76[76, 92, 92, 92, 108, 108] sts. Work the following six rounds for the collar:
Rnd 1: Work in seed stitch, placing markers after each set of sts as follows: 9[9, 13, 13, 13, 17, 17] sts for first sleeve, pm, 29[29, 33, 33, 33, 37, 37] sts for the front, pm, 9[9, 13, 13, 13, 17, 17] sts for second sleeve, pm, 29[29, 33, 33, 33, 37, 37] sts for the back. If using a shorter circular to work in the round, place a 4th marker for the beginning of the round.

Patons Silk Bamboo Scarf - difficulty in reading pattern

On 5th Row of instructions the pattern tells you to knit, purl etc which I have done and end up roughly at mid point of stitches. Then the pattern states "29 sts". There are no instructions for these 29 stitches. Has anyone finished this particular pattern successfully? If so, can you help me please? Thanks,

Question about Heirloom Knit Baby Blanket

I am not sure what to do with the even number rows in this pattern. The instructions read: "Row 2 and all even rows: Knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches as they face you."

So, if row 5 is:
K3,yo,k1.p3,k1,p2,p2tog,k1,p2tog,p2,k1,p3,k1,yo,k3

then what does row 6 look like?

I think if you can give me an answer on this row I can figure the rest out....
I've tried several different interpretations and none of them seem to be giving me the right look.

Thank you! Barbara
